The first lockdown in spring created space for new ideas and creative work. Among other projects we developed a CD program for which we commissioned new pieces. In search of composers we came across the wonderful Paola Prestini - out of this virtual encounter grew a close collaboration. This will now finally bear its fruits and be presented to an audience: Paola Prestini and the Mexican vocalist Magos Herrera will publish their new album ‚Con Alma‘ on the 4th of December. For this they brought together musicians from all over the world during the pandemic - including us! On the 13th of December, 7pm Eastern, there will be a release event in the form of a virtual experience. You can find more information on:  www.conalmaproject.com.

In der ersten Lockdownphase, im Frühjahr, entstand Raum für neue Ideen und kreatives Arbeiten. Wir haben unter anderen ein CD-Programm konzipiert und dafür neue Stücke in Auftrag gegeben. Auf der Suche nach KomponistInnen sind wir auf die wunderbare Paola Prestini gestoßen - aus dieser virtuellen Begegnung ist eine enge Zusammenarbeit erwachsen. Diese fruchtet nun erstmalig auch vor Publikum: Paola Prestini und die mexikanische Sängerin Margos Herrera veröffentlichen am 4. Dezember ihr neues Album “Con Alma”, für das sie Musiker aus aller Welt während der Pandemie zusammenbringen - darunter sind auch wir! Am 13.
