Das zweite Festkonzert zum 25-jährigen Bestehen des Calmus Ensembles in der Leipziger Peterskirche ist nicht nur ein Fest für alle a-cappella-Fans. Gemeinsam mit den Ensembles Sjaella (Leipzig) und Singer Pur (München) sowie dem BUND Leipzig (Bund für Umwelt und Naturschutz Deutschland) und Klix³, dem „Dreiklang fürs Klima”, als inhaltlichen Partnern mit thematischem Rahmenprogramm, wird die Klimakrise in die Mitte des Kirchenraumes gestellt. Dabei möchte Calmus musikalisch aufrütteln, aber nicht ohne dabei – anstatt Hilflosigkeit – Tatendrang zu versprühen. Verbindendes Element ist die „Messe pour double chœur” des Schweizer Komponisten Frank Martin, dessen Todestag sich nun zum 50. Mal jährt, unter musikalischer Leitung von Annabelle Weinhart. Die Elemente Feuer, Wasser, Luft und Erde werden musikalisch in ihrer Naturgewalt und Schönheit von den drei Ensembles in je einem Solo-Slot zum Klingen gebracht – mal still und ruhig, mal wild und brausend, und dabei immer unberechenbar.
